PLANT-BASED AND FOOD-GRADE
With Einar®, manufacturers of polypropylene films will be able to efficiently replace their conventional amine and ethoxylated amide-based anti-static additives with food-grade and bio-based alternatives – and maintain performance in one go.
The Einar® anti-static additives have been specifically developed for optimised performance across all PP grades. Rivalling the performance of current industry standards such as ethoxylated amine and amides, our anti-static additives are efficient and safe alternatives. Inherently food-grade and 100% plant-based, they eliminate any food safety concerns.
In PP films, the anti-static additive must be particularly effective to give the desired performance and even here selected Einar® products meet the demands. This results from targeted research and development where tailored fatty acid esters come together to provide highly efficient short- and long-term anti-stat effects to alleviate static charge build-up during production and subsequent handling without affecting transparency or sealing properties.
EINAR® 411
Einar® 411 is an internal anti-static additive for additive masterbatches based on polypropylene. It's made from an optimised blend of mono- and diglycerides with selected fatty acid profiles, made from vegetable oils. This plant-based, food-grade anti-static additive is custom-designed for use in all PP grades.
As a long-lasting anti-static additive Einar® 411 is the perfect alternative to ethoxylated amine and amides as it is able to match or exceed these while being safe enough to eat. This optimised anti-stat has been developed specifically for challenging applications such as PP film. Einar® 411 comes in pellet form and has worldwide regulatory approval for food-contact applications.
EINAR® 204
Einar® 204 is an internal anti-static additive for additive masterbatches based on polypropylene. It is made from fatty acids and glycerol, based on a blend of palm and rapeseed. This high-quality GMS offers basic anti-static performance in various PP grades which is beneficial during production and initial handling. Einar® 204 comes in pellet, powder and liquid form and has worldwide regulatory approval for food-contact applications.
